I'm seriously turning schizo
You're tuned to 4815162342.fm

Greetings and congrats my fellow friend! Out of the possible zillions of frequencies elsewhere, you've managed to tune yourself to mine.

Here's the 2500h news bulletin:

I was there at the vj harmoc concert yesterday to support this really good friend of mine. Oh me god! She was playing the chromatic, chord and pianica! Haha! The concert sure brings back loads of memories...back when this bunch of jokers/slackers (okay, maybe not all, but they were mostly contained in octave) managed to joke or even eat their way to SYF Gold. How we managed to pull of the feat puzzles me till today, though I'm guessing it had to do with the handful of passionate ones in the band. Yeah, that's you, Wei Jian! Haha! Oh, and Mr Tang looked real cool with his long hair cum brown highlights. Shocking! And I'm constantly amazed by his ability to juxtapose seemingly disparate sounds, yet harmonize them. They actually played JJ Lin's Cao Cao using the harmoc. I can't believe that man, the song is just so rock and the harmoc's supposed to be this "soothing" instrument, and they pulled it off. Cool.

So, anyway, I'm trying to work on something these days. Just so you know, I don't spend my free time doing nothing. I'm crossing my fingers things are gonna pan out and I'll see it to completion, at least partly. Haha, I'll settle for anything right now.

And I've gotta stop getting pissed and frustrated at people when they aren't tuned to the same frequency as I am, when their brains aren't wired to think the same way as me. Yeah, everyone's entitled to their opinions, but it gets kinda frustrating after a while. *shrugs* And I've gotta learn how to stop my I'm-pissed-off-at-everything-because-of-the damn-sleep-deprivation habit. I got blasted by the stupid car horn downstairs at 0845h in the morning today. There was this whole entourage getting ready for a wedding. I know ya trying to go get your bride but it's freaking early on a weekend morning! Some people are trying to sleep here and we don't give a damn about your car-horning-to-alert-bride ways.

Some days I feel crappy, other days not so.
And the crappiest time of my day?
When I'm in the toilet.

Oh, BBC!
"The BBC has revealed that a bewildered man it interviewed live on TV in the mistaken belief he was the editor of a technology website was, quite literally, the wrong Guy.
He was Guy Goma, a graduate from central Africa, who had gone to the BBC's News 24 studios for a job interview as data support cleanser.
Goma sat down in the BBC reception and waited to be called for the interview. A producer greeted him, led him to a studio, seated him on a stool and clipped a microphone to his lapel.
A business presenter then introduced the clearly startled Goma as the editor of a technology website (actually Guy Kewney, editor of Newswireless.net) and asked if he was surprised by computer company Apple's victory in a trademark dispute with The Beatles' Apple Corporation." - tvnz.nz

This was most probably what poor Guy Goma was thinking during the supposed interview.
This must have been what was running through the head of the hapless interviewer.

And friends of the real Guy might have been thinking "Did Guy just spring a reverse Michael Jackson on us". You see, the real Guy Kewney's a white guy and Guy Goma's obviously black. Apparantly, the British Broadcasting Corporation just turned into the Big Blunder Corporation. So the next time, we make a blunder, we can all just say we bbc-ed instead.

Cheapo wierd encounters
In the course of a single night...1/5 of my monthly salary disappeared down our bellies. Yeah, it was the Mothers' Day treat. And my mom still suggested getting a plasma tv my dad's eyeing for Fathers' Day. NOooooo!!!
Anyways, I was off with my mom and dad to the mech eng talk the ntu peeps so kindly invited us to on saturday. Kind because it was free admission to lots of good food (Raffles Convention centre leh, so high class). But my dad sorta "dragged" my mom away before she had the chance to finish trying all the food she wanted, haha!
And then, I saw this guy with the shaved head(okay, bad description, most guys there looked exactly like that). So, this guy turned his head around and I realised he was Weiyang. I stared at him for a while, trying to ascertain whether it was really him. Later, not him, damn paiseh one. It was really him lah, so I started waving at him. And then...he looked real hard at me with this wierd expression as if a ghost was waving at him. A couple of seconds later, he finally realised I wasn't a ghost and kinda waved back at me. The end.

Let's all lead a slacker's life
Write me a song of nature's sounds
And I'll run past cities and towns
Find the source and settle down
Rid myself of the perpetual frown

Gonna take my one last skydive
And then I'll heed your advice
To lie beneath those skies where
Immortality's freed from disguise

How we wish slacking could be a full-time job. So we could stare at the skies the whole day long. Maybe then, we'll begin to appreciate the skies for keeping us safe instead of falling down on us.

Tommorrow, the cheapo girl is gonna gather all her peanut shells/dust and treat the family to lunch/dinner. Yup, that's me.

Crap and more crap
I know this is a lil late, but anyway...Wai Teng thanks for organizing the dinner on Friday! I think I got kinda high after seeing all of ya. Sorry if I kept teasing you all though. Haha, but I'm really proud of all of ya; Wai Teng! You made your first drink other than plain water; Elane! I thought you were eating more than usual, that's good, that's good;) Lee Yee! You made it home safely! Haha! We should meet up again soon:)
Anyway, I've been trying to keep myself busy during weekends so I won't end up eating and sleeping to pass time. I went out with my mom and got myself the Death Cab for Cutie cd yesterday!!! Oh god, I'm in love with DCFC. Really really great lyrics and tunes.
These days I'm quite amazed at myself. I went swimming again today, while the rest of the family was busy snoring away at home. To think I'm supposed to be the laziest person at home. Well, I think I got tanned a lil...I hope:) And I got my ears pierced again!

Election spoofs
Election Spoofs!
There's an aura surrounding Dr Chee..an aura that seems to say "Sue Me!" to the Lees. Does the guy ever give up? Guess "sorry" is the hardest word for him right now, not for Gomez though.
Who says there isn't any "action" during the elections? Action happens in the courts that's why. It's a game of legal action, with Low and Gomez jumping into the fray this time. Wah, so much sueing action man!
