English. Maths. Science. History. Geography.
We were taught the 'how' of things.
How things worked. How to make things work.
Isn't it equally important to know the 'why' of things.
Why weren't we ever taught Philosophy?
The children of tomorrow has to know the things beyond our textbooks.
And i don't mean common sense, social skills etc, though those are important.
But the undying quest to learn and to question why.
Because text can be rewritten.
Newton's laws falter under certain circumstances.
Pluto kicked out of the planetary system.
For the things in our textbooks are not the be all and end all.
