I found these headphones stashed away in the cupboard beneath the tv. My music sounds way clearer and better with headphones. Maybe I should consider investing in a better one.
Went to amk hub fish and co. with nurul and mabel on friday. But blur mabel didn't know iris wasn't working that night. Wells, at least we got ourselves a discount since the staff recognised mabel as iris's sister..haha. Watched Transformers with nurul after that. Alright movie...Graphics, for obvious reasons, was way cool, but after a while it got kinda boring, predictable. Loved the robots, hated the humans. I wished the bad robots could have destroyed earth, so we could just focus on the robots. I sound kinda evil, huh...muahaha.
And I just watched the 200 pounds beauty dvd today. Nice. From the trailers on tv, I came to believe it was a slapstick comedy. The laugh-out-loud, lame kinda movie. But it turned out to be really nice. Woah. Fell in love with the soundtrack too. Mmm....
"I am pleased to inform you that you have been awarded the abovenamed award in th academic year 2006-2007. This prize is awarded to a student who has obtained the highest aggregate marks in the First Year Common Engineering examination and has opted to study Mechanical Engineering in the second year to study."I just recieved this letter. What a laugh. Is it even fair? I was exempted from 3 out of 11 (i think) first year subjects. And the last sem has been weird. Took 2 year 1 subjects, 2 super easy year 2 subjects, and 2 super easy and 1 quite okay elective. See. Fair? Hmm..Or maybe the others just didn't do as well. Ever since mid first sem, school has been gradually losing its appeal for me. In the sense that there's hardly much challenge left. I think it's true what some teachers say...that jc is the tougher than uni, when you apply it in my case. Or maybe I've just been decieved in the first year. Now, I'm still unsure if I wanna get into the mech engine field after graduation. bleah. Anyway, subject registration's on monday. I think I might be getting a day off every friday, if all goes well. I'm crossing my fingers.
