chingay.

Pics from Chingay. To clarify, we were there as traffic control, though there wasn't much to do...and see from our area. 45 bucks for seats to watch the parade is exorbitant, in my opinion. Loved walking down empty Orchard Road though. And I really gotta get back to studying and doing up my 20 page report now 'cause when school starts, things are gonna get real hectic again. Crap.

I'm still figuring out every single day of my life.

It's been a long while.
I have a newfound respect for Jurassic Park. All along, I've always regarded the movie as an all-out action/adventure flick. Maybe it's because I was a lil too young to appreciate it. But damn, it's a real great sci-fi flick now that we've been made to watch it as part of some bio-science elective where we're supposed to evaluate whether the science in movies are credible. Yes, you read right, we're watching movies as part of our so-called studying. For once in my life, studying bio is F-U-N. Haha..
Anyway, I've been thinking and I haven't the slightest clue why I've been neglecting my blog recently. Yup, I've got lots of work to do, but most of the time I end up surfing the net in hall and of course, watching prison break. Guess I've been procrastinating a lil too much lately. Alright, it's the end of week 5, I NEED to get into the mood for studying.
By the way, continuing from my last post, the gripe! Using tissue packets to chop seat. Personally, I don't see what's wrong with it. What's so uncivilised and crude about this man? In this country where time is major source of concern, chopping seats could save us all some precious time ya know. Imagine. You and a bunch of collegues are going for lunch. It's the peak period, long queues everywhere. You find a table. Ask someone to sit there and wait while the rest go buy food. Then the rest comes back while the person has to queue for food. Then what, the rest waits for the person to finish eating. Okay, maybe someone helps that person to buy his/her food. So, ain't the person equivalent to a tissue packet? I mean it's just a bloody tissue packet. What's so uncivilised about it? We should divert our attention to other uncivilised acts - example, srambling to get up buses/mrts, not flushing the toilet, not saying our "thank yous".... There. That's my opinion.
On to another update. I found this on mrbrown. "The People's Action Party (PAP)... has members going into Internet forums and blogs to rebut anti-establishment views and putting up postings anonymously." Haha...here's what I thought since taking up marketing. The PAP is one of the most market-oriented organizations around. The internet is a dangerous place.
Wow. Long post. Hehe, my parents are watching prison break vids on the new plasma tv now! And I wanna get a pair of black skinny jeans:) Happy V-dae in advance, people!
